What is a simultaneous liability?

Simultaneous liability means that a loan (a mortgage) is secured by at least two properties.
In the case of a simultaneous mortgage, several properties are concurrently liable for the full outstanding loan amount.
If necessary, the bank can have all those properties auctioned off.
This is a lien that is registered in the Charges Sheet (C Sheet) of the land register excerpt.
